I
can't believe it's December. It's still not too cold here, though.
WAit I take that back. it's super cold in the morning (my companion's a
runner so we go running every morning) and it's pretty cold.
haha you have no idea how worried we get when our investigators come to
fast and testimony meeting... we try to have something always available
that we can distract them with if we need to haha. For example, we have
a new investigator named Shanalle (she is a miracle. She just called
us one day without us knowing her or anything and just asked if she
could learn more about the Mormon church. Never in my life have I met
someone with as great of faith as she has. I'll write you a letter
about her. She is inspiring) but anyway, we were at church and in sunday
school, the teacher asked us to stand one by one and mention a talent
that we have. this one guy stood up and said, "well I have the
potential to become a god,so..." funny, right? NO! Shanalle just looked
at us and said. "...okayyy....?" and we were like "gah!!!!!!!!!" but
even despite that, she agreed to get baptized on the 22nd! 4
investigators and 3 baptisms coming up! Whoot! I don't even know what I
did to deserve this. This ward hadn't seen a baptism in a
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ong time. That's so cool the missionaries in your ward have an investigator :)
I'm not surprised the boys are being stinkers. haha it makes me laugh. I actually kinda miss it.
'Go Jerome!!! I hated Jerome so much when i was in high school, but now I
have so much Jerome pride hahaha. Did they do a fall play this year?
I was thinking about that a little while ago.
okay, i'm out
of time, but I would like the purple fox jacket if that's okay. and
maybe instead of the redfish one, you could send the purple hoodie i
bought in pocatello. the one i complained about maranda pressuring me
into buying... if you don't know what i'm talking about then just send
the redfish one haha.
I'm so proud of Meagan!
okay i'm seriously out of time, but I love you! have a great week! thanks for everything!
Sister Peters - I don't know if you will receive this prior to returning home or not. Patty and I have greatly enjoyed having you in our home. You bring such a gentle and kind spirit with you whenever you are around, and we are so grateful that you chose to come to Colorado on your mission. We are sad that you are leaving our ward to go to your next area, but we know that you are on the Lord's errand, and that he has other people for you to serve. We hope that you will return to visit us after your mission so that we can show you around to some of the sights where missionaries aren't normally allowed to go (Pikes Peak, etc).
